Epping to Thornleigh Third Track

The project was in place to upgrade the Northern Sydney Freight Corridor Program. The new track separates northbound freight trains from all-stops passenger trains along the steep incline between Epping and Thornleigh.

The now-complete project saw the construction of six kilometres of new and upgraded track on the western side of the existing tracks. AusDilaps were able to be involved in a major infrastructure project for NSW that would assist in the much-needed transportation of freight between Sydney and Newcastle.
